When you have moved sometimes things may go wrong or you may need help with something in your new placement.

Depending on the type of support you have will depend on who does what and who you will need to contact to get help.

It can be helpful when you have moved to talk to someone about who you need to contact when you need help with something.

Active Support is a way of supporting someone whilst keeping the person themselves at the centre of the care provided.

It is an individualised approach that enables the person to be engaged as much as possible in all areas of their lives.

The toolkit also has really helpful information and resources for employers to help them understand more about autism. You may find it helpful to share this with places you are looking at next for work or education.
